LiverpoolAI is a Liverpool-based AI consultancy. We design, build and ship the AI agents, automations and infrastructure that put real intelligence to work inside North West businesses.
What we do
We work with operators who have an operational problem worth solving and want a system that ships, not a slide deck. Most of our engagements fall into one of six services — strategy, agentic automation, conversational AI, infrastructure, document and vision intelligence, enablement and training.
Every engagement is tied to a single named metric. If the project does not move that metric, we do not ship it.
Where we are based
Liverpool, UK. Our senior people live and work here. When a client engagement needs us on-site — whether that is the Albert Dock, the Knowledge Quarter, or a unit on the East Lancs — that is a short journey, not a logistical exercise. We work across Merseyside, the wider North West, and increasingly with teams in London and the rest of the UK.
A short list of why being based here matters in practice: we know the local talent pool, we know the public-sector AI funding routes (including the LCRCA AI and data programme), and we are one of the few AI consultancies in the city with our delivery team actually in the city.
How we work
- Map. A two-to-four-week audit of your operations and data, ending in a ranked list of opportunities with costs attached.
- Prototype. A two-to-three-week proof of concept built against real data, evaluated against a defined success metric.
- Ship. A four-to-eight-week production build: integrated, monitored, guardrailed, documented.
- Scale. Handover, training and ongoing support for as long as you need it.
Median time from kickoff to a live system is six weeks.
Who works on your project
The senior people on the sales call are the people on the project. There is no account-management tier between you and the engineers. We deliberately stay small enough to make that true.
For most engagements you work directly with a strategy lead and one or two senior engineers. Larger builds bring in additional senior engineers; nothing we do is staffed with juniors carrying the work.
What we will not do
A short list of things we have learned to talk clients out of, because the projects that come from them tend to fail:
- General-purpose chat assistants with no scoping. Pick a domain.
- AI-powered replacements for working deterministic rule engines. Do not.
- Long strategy engagements without a working prototype attached. Strategy without code rots.
- Multi-year managed-service AI contracts. Build something, hand it over, train your team.

How to talk to us
The fastest way to find out whether we can help is a 30-minute discovery call. We will tell you, honestly, whether AI is the right tool for the problem in front of you. If it is, we will propose the smallest possible first engagement that would prove it. If it is not, we will say so.
